Dear community,
We are happy to announce that server Trivia will merge with server Global on September 30 at 18 CET.
The merge will typically take a few hours, in this theard we will cover a few FaQ just to make everything clear for everybody.

Before words.
Server Trivia was a real success and our plan for the future is to open more speed/temporary servers that will eventually merge with Global server, when and how, will be announced with a few weeks prior, unlike Trivia where it happend in less than a week, which we assume it wasn't the best idea and made active players of Global server think this is the end for the server, we apologize for this mistake, on the other hand, this helps OldMetin2 gain more attention and player base with a new server, because most of the people nowdays prefer to join on a fresh server to have the same advantages as everybody else, from the begining. All this has been said, let's move on in this theard.

About current Trivia state.
Trivia is going well so far, we didn't expect that support and fast progress from our community but we are extremly happy to see that people are interested in our work and ideas and this pushes us and encourage the administration to continue with this project. So far, after two monts players push their limits to an amazing progress of level 73 and upgraded skills & gear, at the time we posted this statement, which we can only say: congruatulations!
It's time to move to the most important topic in this theard, where we answer to the most common questions we've got in this two months.

Frequently asked Questions (FaQ).
We had a set of questions from our community, which is perfectly normal, we have to let you know, that upon a disscution with the developer that happened yesterday 07/08 we didn't had enough informations to answer those questions, but we'll cover them in this theard.

When will the merge happen?
The Trivia merge with Global will have a fixed date to 30 of September at a estimated time of 18:00 CET.

How long will the merge take?
This typically take a few hours, we'd expect a 5 hours maintenance, if anything takes longer than this, we will announce in time on discord and other available channels of communication.

Do we lose any DR during this merge?
No, the DR will stay as they are now, the only change is that after merge, the Trivia item shop won't be available anymore and everyone will adhere to the Global one which is identical, the transactions details will be kept on our records of Ancient Games S.R.L (payment & publisher company), for a period of 3 months, after this time, all transactions details will be deleted from our servers.

What happends with similar nicknames, guild names, usernames?
All of this will be kept, if there are similar usernames, nicknames and guild names we will take care of this, to better understand how we will manage this i will give you a example:
Player Okami is existent on both servers, well, after the merge, player Okami from Trivia will get his name/user id/ guild updated to a new name, so after the merge there will be Okami and OkamiS2, where OkamiS2 is the player from Trivia, the same tehnique will apply for usernames and guild names, where for usernames of Trivia will be ''usernameS2'' and guild name will be ''GuildS2'', this changes will apply only to accounts/nicknames & guild names that are identical to the Global.

What's gonna happen with our progress and items we have now on Trivia?
Nothing, everything will stay the same, only user id/nicknames and guild names will be updated as explained above.

We will be able to connect and meet with the Global server after the merge is completed?
Yes, you'd be able to connect and meet people from Global after the merge is completed, this will create a more stronger market and playerbase and everyone will enjoy a perfectly running community with expanded playerbase and newcomers.

Guild lands.
The guild lands that are on the same spot as Global will be disbaned, after the merge the owners of the Guild will have to take another land and build again, there won't be refund for disbaned guilds, this will be a new challenge for Guild owner and members to rapidly occupe a new space for buildings. Only one of the servers will be affected by this change and only if there's a conflict between same lands. We will announce which Guild was affected, if that's the case for them.

What happends with Trivia server after the merge?
After the merge is completed you won't abele to connect to Trivia anymore, you have to connect with your Trivia account to the Global server and meet with Global players.
Also the Trivia website, item shop and server from client will be closed and removed upon next maintenance.

What's with the future speed/temporary servers that might happen?
As we state in the begining of this theard, we plan to have another speed/temporary servers in the future, to gain more players and make it more fun for everybody, unlike Trivia server we will announce it in time to make sure everyone can be prepared for antoher adventure. The upcoming servers will be slightly diffrent and will be a perfect opportunity to introduce new patches and systems to the OldMetin2, of course we will discuss with the community about the gameplay/systems that's gonna come with this new servers, more about this will be discussed, however, when it comes to apply this ideas we have.
